Station Road Allotments - Clearance and Weed Suppression of Vacant Plots

Waltham Parish Council invites quotations from suitably experienced contractors to undertake clearance and weed suppression works on vacant allotment plots at the Station Road Allotments site.

The works comprise:

Clearance of vegetation, including grass, weeds, brambles and overgrowth from approximately 40 vacant plots.

Removal of rubbish, debris and other obstructions identified during the clearance works.

Installation of weed-suppressing membrane across all cleared plots.

Collection and disposal of all arisings and waste materials in accordance with the specification.

Contractors should include all labour, materials, plant, equipment and associated costs necessary to complete the works.

A full specification of works, including a site plan identifying the plots, is available below. Contractors are encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting a quotation.  Contact the Clerk to arrange. 

Evidence of appropriate Public Liability Insurance shall be provided with the quotation.
